I was thinking there was no engine in that car but upon closer inspection I can see is there and the first picture.The majority of the car's weight is behind the rear axle of the trailer. That can set up a bad case of tail wagging the dog. If you've ever followed a camper trailer on the interstate that starts swaying wildly, you'll find the person loaded all their stuff to the back of the trailer to "save" the tow vehicle from carrying the weight. Lots of them wind up in the rhubarb if they don't get a handle on it in time.

The wing would put some down force On the tongue of the trailer with a little adjustment.If the engine was out, it wouldn't be so much of an issue other than the aerodynamics.
