Was just at a yard in Seguin TX today... didn't find the wheels and trim I was looking for for my 68 fury but did see various furies, polaras, etc stacked like logs, crushing otherwise decent roofs, windshields, etc. I get it that there's only so much space but jeez. Sad. At least two 65-66 barracudas with intact back glass, amazingly enough!

Not sure if pics will upload from my phone but here goes.

Here are the pics.

A scary proposition to get something off a top car, and a terrible place to be working on a bottom car.

Those cars have been like that for 20 years or so..... I have made the trip out there before for parts. Most parts are ether to far gone, or buried. The last time I went out there in 2008 the yard looked exactly like that. It hasn't changed much.......

At least their not being crushed for scrap. It looks like several have yielded parts already.

Exactly ..... I 'd rather see them stacked than gone. The dash pad in my brown 71 had come from a wagon with a car parked on the roof and others around it. It was being under that cover that saved the pad from the sun.

Yah that place has been there for many years. I haven't been there since they late 90s.....how is their pricing these days? Are they reasonable?

Dunno... didn't find anything I wanted to buy.

That's a really good point

I didn't think that was possible .........! A salvage yard .......? with old mopars ....?

I meant that in a very specific way.... didn't find any parts I needed for the current high priority fixes. If money was not a constraint, I'd buy em all and restore or resto mod every single one, and then I'd marry a model who speaks French. Oh wait that last part is true. But the rest? Just a dream. :)

Johns salvage.
Great place. Have been there 20 years ago. Looks pretty similar. Bought a bunch of parts there. He was reasonable to ma back then.
