I think it is a keeper. Got it from a small town dealer near me here in KS, who got it from the kids of the original owner. Still had original title and all sales documentation with the factory order sheet. He also had a 68 Lincoln that I was actually there to see as I had been looking for a late 68 or 69 suicide with the 460. But then I spied this 300 in the back of his garage and quite by chance I have become a moparian.
This car has just plain superior build than contemporary Cadillacs and maybe the Lincolns. The sound of big doors closing is like the massive precision of a large vault.
The 300 will be a nice match pulling my 1972 Slickcraft. The colors even match.
