I am looking to put 4 speed in my custom 880. if you run across any Polaras with manual shift, please let me know. really hard to find Z bar and linkage. maybe one of the old cop cars...

The police and taxi Monaco's had slightly different patterns on the upper door panels.
Here is a police/taxi pattern:

Here are some other "standard" door panels:

As you can see, the police/taxi panels have a distinctive pointed section in the front whereas the next closest one only has vertical lines in the back half

And storage compartments in the armrests, too!
I never heard nor saw these before and would never have thought such a thing existed!!
I learned something very valuable today. Thank you.

Now, if I could find them in Burgundy... lol

Unfortunately I haven't seen or heard of those before. The only reason I'm well versed on the door panels is because of my research on the Bluesmobile...

I have seen 3 police cars in person and none had the armrest storage so it must be an option.
