I had the two belt variety on all my 1968 Fury's, hated the ratcheting lap belt so much because on long highway drives it would pull you down into the seat with every bump and make my back hurt that I grabbed some rear seat belts from the boneyard and replaced the ratcheting one on the drivers side. BLISS!
Good thing I had both on when I rolled my first PK21 at high speed as I had to collect up my history books and papers that were on the back seat floor scattered all over the road. Went back and tried to find the windshield since it had the inspection sticker on it that could ID me but didn't have a flashlight so no luck on that, but the cops did and when they came a knocking the next day they said they found the windshield in the backyard between the two houses.
