Seat cushions/pad for a 2,500 mile classic car road trip

I found I was in the middle position for my seat. I see I have one more hole forward that will set me back another inch. I may have to take my seat out and adjust.

Having a history of convertible ownership I always keep a couple of plush bathroom towels in the car. Multiple uses. 1. If you drive convertibles, your gonna get wet sometime. 2. great insulator for "hot vinal seats" in the sun. 3. Great cushion for long drives.
It's pretty easy to find towels in a color close to your interior.

Did some modifications this weekend on my seat covers to convert them from bucket to bench.

Adding in a middle section with original color vinyl to hold the bottoms flat.
Had to break out the sewing machine again. Made a pattern and then started working. The fake sheep skin on the edges is kind of being a pain. Gets runs in it easily.
It gets very bulky.
Still a work in progress.
