I won't deny the repaint possibly, but I also think many of the old-school, heavy die-cast Cordoba emblems went missing because the new-school double sided tape wasn't quite up to the task. At least that's what early 80s me recalls.

Won't say that is not the case but for the car to be that nice I feel they should be on there. I have seen basically junk yard 'Dobas still have their emblems. Unless someone checks it out or the owner fesses up, I doubt we will find out if it has been repainted.
