Not much to add, this year has been rather slow for the car and I. I've since given it a new name - THE CRUSTY CHRYSLER. Had to move her outside yesterday temporarily, it hasn't seen daylight in 3 years or so. Still pretty !!

The roof looks funny because we put a rust treatment acid onto it to prevent it from rusting further. Next step is to take the roof down to bare metal, do the body work it needs and shoot primer / paint. I still plan to keep the body with a patina look for now.

Back into her spot! She WILL live to see another day, but maybe not soon as I hope. With tax returns around the corner, I'm hoping to be able to pay for the wiring job it needs as well as to pay the upholsterer. It's been a long time coming, but she's still here waiting her turn to cruise the streets again.

My wife and I are expecting baby boy #2 in March. We look forward to enjoying this old girl as a family cruiser in the future!

How's this for a throwback

Are you going back with vinyl top? The roof on my 300 looks about like that but I’m thinking of fixing/patching and going back with body cooler. I don’t see many gold 68’s out there without a vinyl top. It will be good to see yours together and back on the road for sure!

Are you still in storage in Nipomo or is it at your pad now?
