Now before you go all nuts since the word Mustang is in the title just hold your horses. I just read the article in my latest magazine about a 1967 G.T. 500 Shelby convertible that was a one of. The fact that it was a one of has been an unsolved mystery ever since. The last two owners seemed to have been able to dig up all the information and documents associated with this car. It is the detective work that I find interesting and the behind the scenes look at what was going on at Shelby when Ford moved production from him to A.O. Smith. The link has way more on it that the magazine.

Can't be a 67 must be a 68? The car was Shelby's personal car? The car was stolen early on. For car sleuths this is very interesting.

The Rarest Shelby Mustang of Them All!

This may make it a little easier to swallow.

The GLHS surpasses the legend

I guess if you are talking speed. Now talking value I don't think anyone has a good idea what the one of a kind 67 convertible is worth. Quite possibly the most valuable of all the Shelby Mustangs. Could it be worth more than a hemi Cuda convertible which were not one only nor the personal car of Shelby and a production car to boot.

I can only wonder what the value will be, I remember seeing in a Mustang Monthly back in the late '80s a 1964 1/2 Mustang coupe 289 Hi-Po that had a plaque saying it was built specifically for Henry Ford II. I was wondering then how much it was worth, never found out what happened to that car. I have been a Mustang guy my whole life owning many including a 1967 GT 350 and a 1965 Hi-Po coupe. Now I own a '68 Town & Country and I really like it.

I am also a mustang guy. I love the look of the 67/68 fastbacks, however i decided on a brand new 2007 GT 5 speed as a divorce gift to me. I love driving the car whenever i get a chance which isnt often. I am typically very busy with work most times. Car 10 years old and only has 8,900 miles on it, never been driven in the rain or snow, sits under a cover in the garage. Ford did good with the 05-09 body style i think.

Yes i agree its a two way street. As far as performance the GLHS surpasses the legend, as far as value the legend surpasses the GLHS.
