Wow, only 4k all in with a rebuilt 440! It's pretty easy to spend that much just getting a car out of hibernation anymore. (As you know x7)

Never been airborne in a B-52, but did get to go up in "FIFI" B-29 last summer on her 1st stop in Canada
Lucky! We used to have Planes of Fame in Eden Prairie, MN and I never got around to stopping by before they moved to Texas, I think . Still want to sit in the nose of one of those!

Another view from the tail gunner seat. Even flying over Ontario farm fields out over Lake Erie I still got a sense of how much courage it took to climb into that spot in 1945
knowing some Japanese plane or flak were trying to kill you very soon!
