Should I buy this car? 67 New Yorker parts car

Yeah, but I'd have to tow it 400km to get it home. That's 200ish in gas and the trailer rental is another $100. I'm just not sure I can make it worth my time. Maybe if it is still there in the spring and I can include it as part of another trip, but not now.

Yeah ..... Those expenses need to be concidered for sure. If you could get it to the house for under 1K then you can do alright parting it. I parted a 69 300 and cleared over $4700.00 over the $1500 I paid for the car, and still have potentially 4-500 in parts I can sell.

I will have made some decent money on the '68 New Yorker parts I took in and it was nowhere near a whole car. It would take some time to sell off all the good useable parts but I bet you could easily triple your money on this one. That is provided it couldn't be turned into a driver and saved.

Wow... 4700.00... no wonder parts cost so much....

The car I parted was a 300 convertible so there were many unique/desireable parts that brought good cash. The 440 HP engine & trans brought $1500.
I kept a running tab on what was sold and for how much. The 4700.00 was after all site fees and shipping costs were deducted..... Yep, our cars are worth more for parts.

I kept the 3:23 suregrip, front disc brakes, HP manifolds and several other choice parts for my car.

That did need to be your avatar Will, thanks.
