Okay this yellow 66 Polara convertible is NOT mine. But it should have been. I went with a buddy several years ago when he bought this car in another city. He was a more hard core convertible owner than I. If the sun was out, the top was down. The temperature was in the 40's or very low 50's the day he bought it. He had the top down for the entire 3 hour drive home on I-95. Several years later he sold the car and I should have bought it, but didn't. I still regret not buying it. In this picture, its sitting in my own driveway, and it should have stayed there. Except for the lower rear quarters, it still had it's original paint. I took this picture in the mid '90's when he had the car for sale after using it as a daily driver for a few years.

I dn't own this Polara, but theres got to be more than one 66 Polara owner here. I'm looking forward to seeing more 66 Polara pictures too.

I took this picture at sunset with the sun very low in the sky which is why the wheel well shows up so well.
