That shifter is way cooler than anything the Batman ever had.
Well, maybe not as cool as the Bat Anti Shark Repellent.
As usual I sold it low, buyer flips it and typically makes double or more, no way I could buy it back now..definitely my favorite Bat. Now in a museum in Roscoe, Illinois. Historic Auto Attractions Movieland

Got some better tools and learned old time metal working, english wheeling etc over several years..roll roll roll the metal...like dough, it becomes something after awhile - a real bodyshell..not a conduit and bondo recreation. The number one 66 Batmobile/Futura body was created by a team of metal artisans at GHIA in Italy in 1953-54 I figured I'd try building panels the same way they did.
