Old Man with a Hat
Man, this Norman dude is a lot worse then I ever thought I could be!

Wow, I see that was a tough decision. I’ve thought about throwing in the towel a few times this year as well. I can barely walk right now, but I have 10 years into mine and don’t want to give up just yet. Besides I can still get underneath and still work comfortably, as long as I’m not standing, lol.I bought her in 2005, she came from Pennsylvania and was last licensed in 1999. She had been in an accident due to no brakes that was evident of the butchered body work, and home made brake lines on the front. When I got her the engine was completely seized, the radiator was a mess, the fuel tank damaged, the R.Rear shock was broken, the wiring was a mess, and more. I replaced the complete engine, trans, rear shocks, all fluid lined, recored radiator, converted it to front disc brakes, replaced the L.Front fender, repaired the drivers door hinge, and much more that I have posted on the site over the years. The main reason I got rid of her was my health going down the toilet this year. I would probably never have finished her, so I am glad she went to a new home.
Same with me, I spent two months on crutches this summer because of a pinched nerve. I am just not ready to lay down on concrete anymore.Wow, I see that was a tough decision. And of course once agin, @Ripinator steps in it and comes up with roses! Looking forward to the eventual “red” wave of ‘66 300’s at Carlisle!
That is why there's a lift in the garage now. I can't work under a car for very long without 2 or 3 days of downtime afterwards.Same with me, I spent two months on crutches this summer because of a pinched nerve. I am just not ready to lay down on concrete anymore.
I will have one next summer. That is why there's a lift in the garage now. I can't work under a car for very long without 2 or 3 days of downtime afterwards.
To Rip:
How old are you and do you have a lift?
Old enough to make me feel embarrassed that I like the idea of velcro tied sneakers. How old do you think I am
I gotta admit that they start looking better and better with every year...Old enough to make me feel embarrassed that I like the idea of velcro tied sneakers.
That might be something else I have to look at next year.I gotta admit that they start looking better and better with every year...
