Thats a lot of windows.... More than my house

They had a camera on the seller when it hit the auction block. He was expecting about $40k. He was going into shock when it hit $60k, 70 , 80, 150. I forgot how much it sold for. I think it was close to $190k.
 
Didn't know they were that well liked in the US too, except maybe California.
Think this microbus was also the most expensive Hot Wheels model that went for about 10 k, was a series of faulty models that had the center of gravity set wrong for going through the tracks and loops without falling out IIRC.
 
I've only seen that one 23 window bus sell for crazy money. It was in perfect condition.

Sure. My office lamp happens to be one relict of these times that I dug out of one archive room here in the basement. Many timeless designs from that era and 50s furniture design and architecture was often inspired by Bauhaus over here.



Nice. Very nice. Good design is timeless. A lot of well know designers & architects came out of or are associated with the Bauhaus.
