Some help please:

I've seen a lot of good tipz and advice for Bulldog Chesty, but one I haven't seen iz the "GLUE IT AND SCREW IT" method. Am I the only guy that's used the two part 3M "super glue" to replace panels? 78Brouhamz flanging tool or one similar for the flange,(do not waste your $ on that Eastman "vicegrip flanger", your handz won't last that long! pop ah couple 1/8th"holez thru' the upper and lower edge of the replacement panel to have the location placement set. Mix up the glue, spread it on the flanged existing panel, set your replacement panel in the opening of the flanged panel and then follow the 4 holes thru' the existing panel, and us little 1/8" shorty screwz and then go have ah couple St Pauliez. You will probably have to drill a few more holez to suck the two panelz together tightly but you'll know how many more you'll need after you've got the panel hung. The nice thing about this method iz no welding and no metal shrinking. After the glue has set just grind off the screw headz and skin coat the flange crack. Some of this modern stuff iz way good! And really beats the hell out of spreadin' lead when yer nozin', deckin' 'n shavin' door handlez too, Jer

Yup, it will, and it'll work with 151+coke or Jose Cuervo with ah little bit of lime too but I'd do all the drillin' and screwin' before I got too deep into either one ah 'um!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol! What were you thinking, or were you thinking???

That's the spirit.
My attitude when I F/#@ up is that I F/#2ed before and I will F%#@ again. Move on. ☺

Exactly Stan. I didn't realize how bad the trunk extension was until I pulled up the pad. Not a biggie. I'll just have to finish it when I retire. Five to eight years.

Before you do anything you need to position your jackstands in the proper place, under the differential. Where they are now can cause the body to sag. Especially on a convertible. After all your hard work you don't want warpage when you set her back on all four! Good luck! o
