I think the photo was taken at the US 30 strip. I’m not 100% on the location.
As for the car it was a “promo” car used by Hurst to taxi Hurst employes or Chrysler employees around with the “Hurst camp” at various races around the country. - The “Hurst” graphic on the door is magnetic, and was applied when Linda or George were doing track duty but the Hurst Convertible wasn’t available. Niki Phillips likely was at the other side of the track, etc.
Hurst did the same thing with Oldsmobile “common” cars.
Hurst had a huge group of people and promotion at major events back then. Full travel trailer (park model), “Hurstaid” repair vehicles, tow vehicles, mini bikes, golf carts etc.
The 70 300/H Hurst convertible even had a tow hitch installed by Hurst to tow a trailer to and from events.!
