Some more classic pictures

I find it interesting how differences in car body styling has evolved over the years. When I look at pictures for about 1950 to 1980 or so, I can recognize most brands at a glance. Prior to 1950, not so much and after 1980 the majority really start to look alike. To my mind the golden years were 50's, 60's and early 70's (70 and 71) After 71 styling seemed to get stuck. Thanks for all the pictures, I'm loving it!!

I agree.
Take a look at the mid-size car, suv & cuv markets. I swear it's the exact same car which each manufacturer slaps their badge on the deck lid. It's interesting how a new styling "gimmick" like a tail light shape or roof line is introduced by everybody at the same time. I don't think the big three even have styling or design departments any more.
