While cleaning out dead bookmarks this morning I came across the vintage toolbox search page and got stuck for awhile.

I had a toolbox just like this one for all my micrometers, dial indicators & straight bars.

We had an old floor standing radio (not this one) when I was a kid. It was already an antique then, but it worked great. Some of the stations I remember were CKRC 630, CKY 580, CFRW 1470, KFYR 550 in the daytime and WLS 890, KSTP 1500 and KOMA 1520 at night. The radio had 3 bands, AM, SW and something else, but not FM. It had an electromagnet 12" speaker and sounded pretty good. I wish we still had it.
