Any idea where this pic is from? The last SS Kresge store I have seen was in Detroit. For those that don't know he is the founder of K-mart.

The store in the back, Cleanol, is a rug cleaning outfit opened 1937 in Toronto and according to their web site they still serve Toronto and surrounding towns. The blue licence plates look o be early 70's Ontario.

I'm leaning more to 63

The blue starting in 65 was much brighter.

And the store on the far right with the yellow pillar and W S would be Loblaws.

Man, that car still gets me!
That has to be one of the sexiest designs of the 60s.
My best friend's Dad had one home for a weekend. Those cars also had the greatest looking interior I've ever seen. Even to this day.
My three all time favs are: [listed by model year]
First gen XKE.
The Chrysler Turbine
68 Charger [My first car]
My qualifier as a great design requires a subject look great from all angles. These three qualify in my book.
As a kid in grade school I hoped they would produce that car. Put a 383 in it to run with the Rivs and T'Birds.
I even kit-bashed a model back then stuffing a big block in a Turbine car. And it's my favorite Mopar color!

Side note:
Interestingly it doesn't have manufacturers plates on it. Must be one of the cars given to the public to evaluate.
And look at the context of that pic. Just a three year time span from that 60 Dart to the 63 Turbine car.
