It's unbelievable the vintage pictures of what people did with they're I imagine at the time new cars. I know back then I wouldn't let anyone sit on my used car, even my Fury III after it got rear ended and became a beat up city daily driver with the lower quarters rusted out I think the only neglect I had with the car was not waxing it anymore.

Here's a tip on lower rusted quarters for a 1968 Plymouth Fury, if you catch the rust/rot before it consumes the majority of the panel you can cut off or just hammer away the inner part and fold over the outer section and pop rivet it real quick to the trunk floor to keep loose stuff from falling out of the trunk!
Plus you get the added visual of the spring & shackle and the dual tailpipes being exposed! VROOM! VROOM!
