Should be in the funny thread…
This is one of my most favorite inside Chrysler photos - what an amazing plant that must have been and those Imperials were fantastic I felt.
looks like he's trying to make one out of chocolate!
I love the picture of mom blocking the kid from getting into her Imperial with the messy banana. Also the dealership applying Porcelainise (early ceramic coat?)
Interesting later challenger. Bl1 beige with road wheels and an odd colored top. Wonder what that color was.
There was a BL1 Chally at Carlisle this year, inside one of the buildings. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo. Perhaps someone else did?Interesting later challenger. BL1 beige with road wheels and an odd colored top. Wonder what that color was.

L4 (?) With a special order V1T top? Says only Monaco and Polara in the trim catalog, but that's the closest I could find. There was a BL1 Chally at Carlisle this year, inside one of the buildings. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo. Perhaps someone else did?

That car is not a 1972, as per the front bumpers and the fact that the grille logo is on the driver's side. 1973 and 1974 Challengers are almost impossible to tell apart. The main way to tell would be whether the car sports shoulder belts (1974 only), and I think one is visible on the passenger side of this car, so my money is on a 1974.1972 (...) 1973 (...)

I can't tell for sure, and it could well be. Whatever it is, IMHO the color combo looks just right on that car.Could it be a painted roof? Alan
