1963 pic of Tom Snedens front yard near Hyattsville, Maryland showing Bob Banning Dodge '63 race cars cars. Mr. Banning said that he called Plymouth to order a new 64 Hemi Plymouth and they told him he could not get one. (He had already ordered the 64 Hemi Dodge) He was so mad he told Plymouth: "OK, we DON'T sell Plymouths anymore". So what you see here was the only Plymouth race car (63 max wedge) in the long Banning Mopar racecar legacy. This was early in 63 because they still had the Plymouth. Both the Plymouth and Dodge were max wedge cars, but for some reason the Plymouth was faster, so before they gave the Plymouth back, they swapped engines.
