Yes, that's Alexandria, just outside the Beltway about a mile south of Old Town. You'll notice the dual sidewalks that many of the houses have.....small duplex homes were quite common in the close-in Washington suburbs. As awful as that 1957 pic looks, that is now a VERY expensive area.
