You really don't see may slab Chrysler converts do you but that wood grain treatment is hideous ... on that color anyway

... I'm sorry guys

I would love it w/o the vinyl grain

Seems more suited to a long roof treatment to me

The Sportsgrain treatment doesn't bug me...the missing skirts on the 68 do. Slab Chryslers were designed for skirts and without them they look weird. Plus, there should be a large lip without the skirts on it that I'm not seeing-so I think the quarters have been doctored quite a bit (and incorrectly) on this car.

Yes it would look better with the skirts I knew something was amiss but was too distracted by the tape treatment .. would also look better with red lines or blackwalls with the magnum 500's

I would also prefer the stainless trim or just plain painted sides w/o that vinyl treatment

Auction site says skirts are included, but not fitted for photos.

LOVE the woodgrain on these cars. It is so uncommon and a sign of the times it only enhances the car.

It was also available on the 69s. It doesnt look as well but still cool

I like the Sport grain option just because it's so unusual. Less the 200 68 convertibles got it.

The 69 convertible looks like it might need soom TLC yet. Nice car but rough around the edges. The seats have been redone, correct pattern but no cloth in a convertible in 69, plus the "buckle" ornaments have been deleted. The rectangular headrests suggust at least one reclining seat.
Nice car for $15K.

Agree, the Newport looks weird without the skirts. But that woodgrain, rare or not, would look best peeled off and in the trash can.

I just bought my first c body! Bought the light blue 69 300. Hope it's a good buy. I've seen so many price ranges. Looks pretty clean though.

Head over to the "welcome wagon" and introduce yourself and your new ride.

That 69 looks like B3 Bahama Blue Metallic. I love that color.

Yup bought that light blue one from the auction. Waiting for it to be picked up and shipped to Cali.
