What's really interesting here is that if you scroll down a bit on that page you see entries with no pics for a 1970 Dodge Polara. Both of them are for that same car - this car - in Regina. Both have an asking price of $11,900. He obviously is either desperate to sell it or is anxious to flip it for a quick profit if he only paid $4K for it at the salvage sale and now has it listed on Kijiji for $9900.

This makes me very suspicious, both regarding the salvage issue and the urgent desire to sell. Maybe not everything is as it seems.

ETA: I did a lookup on the phone # in the ad and it traces back to Graham Wallace, who is listed on the web as an automotive appraiser in Regina, so it is likely a flip job.

Yup, thats the ad... a flip job? Perhaps, but obviously he cleaned it up a bit. For anyone wanting one of these this car is worth the look.

wait a minute - there is another '70 polara rag in regina for sale, a green one with a wht top, which was listed @ 11,900 the last time i looked

1970 Chrysler 300 convertible reference prices from just released Collector Car Market. Also their current estimate of the muscle car segment of the market is "flat" except for highly exceptional or rare versions.

Condition 1 show: $20,375
Condition 2: $12,350
Condition 3: $8650
Condition 4: $3800

The one above is condition 3+ assuming no hidden rust lurking under the car.

The interesting thing is that in their quarterly updates they don't even bother to list 4 door values in any full size car except Imperial, Galaxie XL500, Continental and Cadillac Calais.

I'd love to see a solid #2 car for $12,350, for instance, that F-3 green car in ND is close to a #2 from the pcis is see, and listed @ 15,795. and there is a '70 polara 440 ragtop in AZ for sale, it's a #3 car, guy wants 24,900......it is realistically worth abt 10K. i know of a car with a body that abt as good as the az car, and it's less than 10K

No, these all have the same phone number - the one in the Kijiji ad for the blue car.

i see.......lots of gold up there, like i said before, and that won't be the first time a flipper reared his head in the hobby.......my guess is that 10% of the cars i see this weekend are being sold by flippers

There are great cars in Canada. It is so open up there plenty are still tucked away.
