Has anyone ever seen one of these or something like it? My Dad got it out of a 59 Plymouth. Were these factory?

I don't think so. I have one from the 60's that is still attached to the rack card, looks like something you got at your local parts store.

Back in the day new car dealers gave out fancy keys/key cases/key rings etc. when you bought a new car. I don't think any of it was factory so each dealer picked up his give-a-way stuff locally.

These might be original. My '59 Imperial has original annodized alunimum keys (gold). If your keys are alunimum they might be original.

An original 59 Plymouth key made from aluminum. They wore out quickly in ignitions and broke easily. Many were replaced with stronger metal keys.

All the dealership gave to the original purchaser of my NYB was a cheap plastic FOB.
Lean times in the seventies I guesss. .

It looks like they could have been a Chrysler Marine dealer too.
Or the complimentary car wash with every scheduled maintenance service.

Actually , the dealership sat on the river's edge and got wiped out in a big flood in 1981. The area has since been bulldozed and is now a park.
