Anyway, there is a union/connector at the end of my steering shaft and positioned before the coupler on my '71 Fury that basically disintegrated. Anyone know of rebuild kit or replacement? Are these hard to replace? Does the shaft and/or gear box need to be loosened and/or removed? Thanks in advance!

My guess is the isolator biscuit is what I need. I found one online and it looks nothing like what I have, so much of it is gone. Scary. I'm also seeing the term "rag joint" being used.

I think I've found the info I needed elsewhere on this site. Still wondering how difficult the procedure is...

I ended up buying an NOS biscuit on evilpay.

I figured if I was going to have to drop $150 on some billet part that wouldn't bolt right in without having to adjust the shaft, I may as well get the RIGHT part for $50 more. Easy install, works great, totally worth it!
