Good job and way it was done.
Years ago, a friend was going to get a leather steering wheel redone for his car. He was referred to a local guy who did upholstery for some of the higher-end sports car people. His recommendation was to remove all of the plastic that was disintegrating, then replace it with thick-wall rubber fuel line hose, then cover that with the leather, stitching in on tightly. Price was reasonable so it was done. Looked OEM, but was not.
