Stupid things I heard at the Car Show last nite

My car is a 65 Sport Fury, 426 wedge, 4 speed, this is the stupid crap people said to me.....

So, thats a Hemi, cool.............duh

I never saw a hood ornament with the engine size on both sides, look at the one down there. response, oh you mean the 68 with the 318?

Was it hard to put that 4 speed in? I thought these all had automatics........... ah, idk, ask the guy who put it in, that is if he is still alive LOL

Shame thats not a Max Wedge, then you would have something, ...... I heard that one twice.

Guess since it doesn't have elephant ear manifolds and a cross ram intake it's not a 426 Max wedge motor eh....Sheesh....:shruggy:

I had a young man almost argue with me at Auto Zone that I gave him the wrong year for my '66 300. He laughed and said you mean '06, No I said just type it in I have the right year.

The funny thing is now whenever he sees me he asks about my '66 300. At least he knows now.

SOMETIMES though you run into a fellow Chrysler/Mopar enthusiast. Ran into a guy today at the local supermarket who had a 69 Dodge Super Bee. He digs the "big" Chryslers, we yakked for so long we both forgot why were there,lol.
