Hello Folks,

I was hoping to get some insight on the location of the super lite switch. This car did not have the super lite initially, but the old man wanted to put one in. Well he found the bracket, light and grille and it was installed. I have the switch, but not entirely sure where would be the best location for it, or if there was a standard way they laid switches out on the switch panel. I am not to sure if it should go to the spot to the right of the top switch, or below the top switch. I do believe there are openings in the back to add it to either of those locations.

the car is a 70 polara convertible.

On the wagons, convertible and rear defogger cars the switch requires an external bezel like the one shown above. If you remove the left half dash bezel and turn it over you will see exactly where it is supposed to go. You will need the small bezel to precisely drill your holes in the left dash bezel.
To do it correctly you also need the dash harness from a Superlite car which is different than the others.

I have that switch bezel and a dash piece that shows what needs to be drilled. But I was just wondering what position the switch needed to be in.

So you are saying with it being a convertible the super lite switch would be to the right of the top switch?

Correct, convertibles, wagons and rear defogger cars.
