Support for stub-frame removal

Last weekend got things pulled apart, and covered back up before our son and chill, our winter has been an easy one so far. Stub has been removed and the car supported and easily mobile with you guy's help!! thank you!!

I have most of the stub disassembled and when I get home today I will finish it. And post some pics of that too. Upper and lower ball joints are toast, along with all the control arm bushings. But the stub is in really great shape!!
 
Good job! That stub doesn't look too bad. Careful with the torsion bar boots on the ends, very tough to find ones that fit. I went with a repair for the one that ripped.
 
Thanks for the info on the boots, the right adjuster on the t-bar was a PITA, but the left side was coated with oil from the engine compartment and wasn't as bad once I broke it loose.

understood, you have to be careful not to strip the screws...
 
Disassembled the rest of the stub, boots came off without a problem. I found plenty of nutshells, carpet fiber, insulation and dead grass inside the frame rails, lots of compressed air, and then a shot from the pressure washer cleaned it all out. Degreaser, pressure washer, and some scrubbing and other than tight spots the grease/oil is gone.
