Tailgate lock

I've got a 2009 Ram 1500 and I can't find a keyed tailgate lock. I don't want a power lock. I want a keyed one. I stopped by a Dodge dealer yesterday & they don't even list a part #. The 1500 was different than the 2500 & 3500 in 09. Anybody can help. I've checked local parts stores & Rock Auto

I remember an aftermarket kit we used to install. I will find out when I get to work and post it. They came with it in later years as they included a "Valet" key which just opened doors and t-gate. Nothing changed 2009-2012 so maybe i'll look at that as well stay tuned

Im looking for a keyed lock. Not an electric. Looks to me like electric is all they make.

Take a look at these part numbers with your local Dealer and see if they will work. If you like I will be happy to bring these in and make sure they are what you want before you buy them.

Take a look at these part numbers with your local Dealer and see if they will work. If you like I will be happy to bring these in and make sure they are what you want before you buy them.

No if you look it fits 09 2500 trucks which was the 08 body style. I have an 09 1500. It's confusing. In 09 the 1500 & 2500 where different body styles

Yea,,,, when I was reading that I was a tad confused myself and I saw the 02-08 1500 bla bla bla ,,,, OH HELL I have ALL FORD TRUCKS and do not have that problem ..lol lol when they feel like running that is ..............

300rag says his 2010 came factory with a keyed only lock. So if you could. Check to see if the factory keyed look for the 2010 will work on my 09 1500 and if so give me a part # and I'll try my local one more time. Thank you for your help. As many of these trucks that are out there Im surprised it's so hard to find this simple parts

2010 will work on my 09 1500

Parts are the same 2009-2011 keyed tgates were available from 2010 on the only changes to the handle are if you had a back up camera otherwise they are all the same. I will confirm parts and availabilty/price tomorrow for you.

I double checked the parts list for the 2009/2010 tail gate lock and revised the part numbers. Have your local dealer bring them in if they will. These prices are Canadian.
