Not mine. 383, less than 50k miles. "Paint not perfect but shows well." A/C (seems to be non-factory) said to work. Asking price is CAD 6.8k.

Clean/pristine, and modestly priced; it should sell quickly. From the engine photo, the AC seems to be factory, but vents tell otherwise. Looks period correct for the car though; AND there is cruise control, which was probably an uncommon option for a Newport/Windsor. Someone else can probably verify this, but the red block seems out of place; they may have been that way in CA. Hope it finds a good home.

Canadian production was painted Industrial red on many applications, so it could be a factory color. Same was true for power steering pumps and brackets. Would not expect the dipstick handle to be red. Looks to have a what might be a Mopar orange box on the firewall which would not be correct with a mechanical regulator and the alternator bracket appears too long for the application. Agree on the dealer installed A/C. Overall a very nice auto that is realistically priced.

Were the dipsticks not in the tube when the engine was painted?

I can't speak to that on Canadian produced models, but US production usually had no paint on the dipstick handles. I think however that this probably varied from plant to plant. I have one Mopar in my collection with paint on the dipstick tube and handle, all the rest are metal finish.

Red dipstick tube, handle, power steering pump are all correct. Pulleys should also be red. Also, at the Windsor plant the engines were painted after mating to the transmission, so there should be red overspray on the bellhousing.
