WANTED Temperature gauge for 1966 fury

Hey, looking for a temp gauge for a 66 fury vip.

Wires look really burnt up, the gauge only reads when it’s shorted to ground.

If it works when shorted, the problem is more than likely your sender or the wire.
I have a used one if you decide you need one

I’ve tested the continuity through the wire and it’s good, it reads proper ohms, I’ve also tested the new sensor and it works good proper reading. Added an extra ground wire to the gauge case, the Nichrome wire around the metal strip is blackened

Last thing I did was hook it up to my buddy’s fury 3 and amp meter fuel gauge all work, no temp

Well......Looking again at your gauge, it does look like it needs some help. If 65Copcar don't get you fixed up I can send you one. I hate dealing with the USPS on out of country shipping but whatever it takes.
