Couple of weeks ago greasemonkeyman gave me a lead on a left rear tail light for my 1967 Monaco. I picked the part up yesterday from a wrecking yard down in Portland, Oregon. I drove down Saturday morning to view the 50th Portland Swap Meet, an vintage car swap meet. Once I was done looking I drove the 2 miles to the wrecking yard from the Portland Expo Center grounds and picked up the tail light. These are not easy to find, at least reasonably close to home.

I've included a picture of the left rear tail light that's on the car and a picture of the new one sitting on the trunk. You can see why I was looking for a replacement.

Thanks greasemonkeyman!

Congratulations. What a great feeling when you find something rare in great condition for your car.

No problem,Always willing to help out a fellow car guy.Glad you got the part.I try to keep a listing for places and websites that contain certain parts for whatever it is I'm building.Sometimes these parts can be real tough to locate, and as time goes on,we're all gonna have a tough time finding this stuff. And I'm sure prices will start going up too.
