Anyone remember & like the old customized vans from the 70's I sure do & I miss em. The first solid orange one looks a lot like the one i had. I sold it to a guy in Myrtle Beach, SC who owned a Tatoo Parlor.

I was always impartial to the Dodges although ea. generation was one older than the other two makers.
Just the fact you could buy them with 440's.

The best looking vans out there were the plymouths! A friend of my moms had a mid 70's black with purple graphics. Had a claw bathtub and a water bed in it. I loved that van!!

I don't see a bubble window in any of your pictures. I remember all of them having one.

You are correct. Bubble windows where very common. I think mine had one. I never took a pic of my Vsn for some reason. They also had a Pentastar window. JC Whitney sold a lot of these parts for these vans. I want to do one.

The green one shows up at the various shows here, the owner is the original owner and the one who built it back in the day. Although repainted the interior is still all original. There was a period in time he lived in the van moving from one beach to the next.

A friend of mine had a 1971 bone stock van, just plywood (not paneling) on the inside. It still has full cargo ability.

It seems like all the stuff I like go's out of style. What's that tell you about me. LoL

And from out of the west came the hearty call HI-O-SILVER. No actually it waz those famous buzz wordz of the piece and love generation: IF THE ANTENNAS ARE ROCKIN' DON'T BOTHER KNOCKIN' OR I COME OUT THERE AND KILL YOU

How about your women lol

thats kinda what I meant. I still think Miss ONJ was hot. I listen to the same FM station I did when I was a teen. They had various formats over the years & now have come full circle & play all the 70's hits. I need to find my old Cordoba & my 1st girl friend.

Found a copy of my first C-body.
My father's 67 Newport I bought in 70.
Yah on the first girlfriend.

I actually dated my first true girlfriend in my moms Monte Carlo. It was about a year later I got the Doba. I probably better let that dog sleep.

Here is the van I sold to then get my Imperial ragtop. It's a '79 Dodge B200 Street Van. 360-4, auto, ps/pb, tilt, and dual air. The sidepipes are 100% functional and sound badass - the best exhaust sound of anything I've owned. Full custom interior, 1000W sound system, icebox, sofabed, captains' chairs, the whole bit. The rear spoiler is actually off a 2008 Challenger - it fit perfectly!

I loved those custom vans. The custom interiors were amazing and the paint jobs on some were mind blowing.

There are two or three that show up at the local cruise nights here. One is a yellow Dodge with orange pinstriping (I think it's pinstriping), it has orange trim on it anyway. It has the Pentastar "bubble" windows and a custom interior. A very nice van. :)

I'm not really sure what the others are. I think one might be a Ford.
