That's not a bad price for a letter 300, a bit rough, but runs and drives.

It looked like it was missing some chrome letters on the rear deck. I think someone who had the time, money and expertise SHOULD save this beautiful relic of another time.

I'd clean it up a bit, install a new carpet and drive it as is for a while.

I think it's all there. The only letters are the Chrysler script on the right side and the 300H on the left side. The "H" is smaller than the "300".

What can I say? At 77 my eyes are not what they were in 1962 (I was 15) I would look for someone who can adjust those dual carbs. Incorrectly done -- this can be a bear on the street. As an aside, this should have been one of the lightest of the letter series as it is on the 122in wheel base. i an guessing 0-60 in about 6.8 seconds.

Close: 7.2sec, tried to copy and paste the Automobile Cataloge page, but it's not working.

A lot of the Letter Car guys have passed away in the last ten years. It has hurt prices, lots of cars from estates have become available.
