I just watched the very last episode last night.

I am not really a consumer-of-media, and I declare most of it to be crhap. But this one hooked me because it combined a fascinating (if evil) period of history with alternate-world sci-fi. In my opinion, the series started off painfully slow. By season 3 (of 4), you could tell the producer changed and it got much more interesting.

Anyone else care to discuss the show?

I watched the series, too. I actually liked the first two seasons better...thought it portrayed how things may have turned out pretty interestingly. The parallel universe/time travel plot kind of lost my interest a bit. John Smith did get his due in the end, though.

I really liked the first season but kind of lost interest by the end of the second season. Maybe I need to continue.

Sounds similar to’For All Mankind’ where the Soviets beat us to the moon.

I watched it and liked it. It's one of those series that I plan to watch again one of these days. I found the premise of the Axis winning WWII fascinating and then tossing some science fiction twists made for some enjoyable TV.

I just started watching "Electric Dreams" on Amazon. It's different stories based on Phillip K. Dick's writings. While not quite as good as the Man in the High Castle, it's still pretty decent TV.

I’ll check that out John

Along with Man in the High Castle, Phillip K. Dick was also responsible for the stories Blade Runner, Minority Report and Total Recall were based on.

He had some some quirks in his personality though. Philip K. Dick - Wikipedia

Season got off with a bang and got a little dull at the end.
Started S2 and never got to E2
I have terrible ADD...

Does anyone else remember the series of a medical examiner who couldn’t die, keeps getting killed and waking up in the river naked. His son/dad was Judd Hirsh?

Kind of like Highlander as in Immortal

wish that had kept going.

That was "Forever".

There was a similar show called "New Amsterdam" where the star was a detective. Not the hospital show, this was over 10 years ago. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0928414/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_4

Also he was just about to hook up with the hot detective lady

For All Mankind was so up and down for me. Each episode should have been half the length and cut out all the family drama garbage. Space shows and movies really interest me, but each episode felt like an eternity because of the second side of the story.

This show looks interesting, I’ll give it a try
