Be prepared to remove the windshield when replacing the dash-pad. The '68 Monaco/Polara's have dash-pad mounting bolts under the lower windshield channel. You will also need a new windshield gasket, a good glass guy to reinstall it. I would plan on it taking a full 3 day weekend to do it right. If it's just a small crack I would let it be..... After buying a new windshield gasket, paying a glass guy to remove/reinstall, and carefully removing all trim and reinstalling. Just gasket and labor is prob 500. The '68 Polara/Monaco were not very dash service friendly. I have parted out 4 cars 3 of them fury's and one 68 dodge Monaco and I can say the Monaco dash is the toughest to work on!! Jason

I have to replace the dash pad..the crack in it makes the rest of the car look bad.....I am NOT looking forward to trying to do this.:BangHead:

My friend showed me this huge nasty trailer park behind the Walmart in Ceciltucky (Elkton) Maryland. I was shocked..........there are boats (trashed) parked in front yards with people living in them.
