How tall is that ceiling?
Coincidence. Mine is 11'8". Get that damn lift. You won't be able to afford it in a few more years.11'8"..... Built for the van I no longer have
I have to replace the dash pad..the crack in it makes the rest of the car look bad.....I am NOT looking forward to trying to do this.
So you drive around behind the big box stores too, huh? LOLWalmart has a DIY lift cheap.........
there are boats (trashed) parked in front yards with people living in them.[/QUOTE]
Now thats thinking outside the box......:methane:
Be prepared to remove the windshield when replacing the dash-pad. The '68 Monaco/Polara's have dash-pad mounting bolts under the lower windshield channel. You will also need a new windshield gasket, a good glass guy to reinstall it. I would plan on it taking a full 3 day weekend to do it right. If it's just a small crack I would let it be..... After buying a new windshield gasket, paying a glass guy to remove/reinstall, and carefully removing all trim and reinstalling. Just gasket and labor is prob 500. The '68 Polara/Monaco were not very dash service friendly. I have parted out 4 cars 3 of them fury's and one 68 dodge Monaco and I can say the Monaco dash is the toughest to work on!! Jason
I didn't feel comfortable driving around that trailer park in the NYB. LOL!
