The NYB gets a new Tuxedo

OK, Stan...my '78 Salon is absolutely jealous! She says your car looks like a strumpet in a pretty new dress! Meanwhile, mine still wears the (mostly) original paint with a slight feeling of emptiness now.

Very nice! I'll have to drive the NYBS tomorrow for a little ride, so she can shed that feeling of inadequacy your NYB has heaped upon her.

Looks Great Stan!

Beautiful work looks great! Watch out for those public parking areas, better have a guard with you to protect the car. Don't be this guy though, he was lucky he they only used chalk.

It really is a beauty with a stunning paint scheme!

That, Stan, is a great looking formie! I really like the new paintjob! Congrats!

But, I have to ask. Are the pinstripes stickers? It seems that the ends of the stripes are sticking out a little bit?!
Busted. I rushed on the pics and there are a a dozen details I have to attend to right away.
#1 is painting the rocker panel bottom seam black!!
That irritates me when I see cars with a body colored seam.

Yes there should be.
And there will be.
Along with several other missing items.
BTW..
The factory door edge guards??? NOT going back on...

The silver is the original silver but with extra metallic added and the black is Lexus Metallic Charcoal.
BEAUTIFUL Stan! Looks awesome! You've been holding out on us...nice surprise on a cold winter day. The paint nowadays is really great stuff.
You can be really proud of the job and color scheme! CONGRATULATIONS
Wish i could see it in person one-day
