I know I'll probably get flak for it, but to be clear, The 79 Cordoba/ Magnum were R bodies...I know that the sheet metal was the same on the outside, but underneath the 79 Cordoba was just like a 79 Newport/ NY/ St regis etc. A little known Mopar fact was that the B body was discontinued in 78.

You are correct but with B body guys they consider the Magnum '78-'79 as a late B Body.
