Hello,

When I joined in September last year, and introduced myself in the Welcome Wagon forum, I mentioned my updated Thermo-Quad guide. I wanted to add it to a fuel system related forum as an FYI, and this is the closest here on FCBO. I also posted a similar message earlier on FABO, FBBO, and FEBO in their "Fuel and Air Systems" forum, plus the "Engines, Exhaust and Fuel Systems" on FFMJBO.

In 1998, I originally wrote a document called "A Carter Thermo-Quad Guide". It has become informally known as the "Vaanth Thermo-Quad Guide". I have since re-wrote it, expanded it, and corrected some errors and gaps in three versions. The updated versions listed in the following have the same content, just different formatting.

- A Carter Thermo-Quad Guide, Version 2.0 - A pure text form like the original for portability.

- A Carter Thermo-Quad Guide, Version 3.0 - A simple HTML form.

- A Carter Thermo-Quad Guide, Version 3.1 - An alternate HTML form adjusted to work properly within Google Sites.

These are hosted on a Google Sites page, Vaanth Thermo-Quad Guide Site, and some other Thermo-Quad reference information.

Google Sites is not ideal, but it is free, mostly works, and is relatively reliable. The versions are complete but the other reference material is still progressing, and a possible future, fuller featured, Version 4 may be added later.

FYI...

Great, thanks!

Wow! Great stuff. I love the T-Quad and consider it to be a high point in mixing fuel and air together. The chances of me rebuilding one of these, nearly 45 years after my last one, are probably zero.

But that won't stop me from reviewing the Vaanth writings.

Thank you very much for your work on bringing great information about the Thermoquad to the masses. I am going to give the new version a read.
