This Big-Block Plymouth Fury Used to Be a Moonshine Runner

That '65 Fury is more than awesome. I've had two songs going through my head since I first read this thread, and I have to share them, because there might be someone out there who doesn't know them. LOL

Let me tell the story,
I can tell it all,
About the Whip-poor-will who ran illegal alcohol.
His Daddy made the whiskey;
The son he drove the load;
And when his engine roared, they called the Highway "Thunder Road".
Sung by "the man" himself; Robert Mitchum.

And , of course, Steve Earle singing;
"Daddy drove the whiskey in a big, black Dodge"

Yep, Copperhead Road was the first song that came to mind when I saw this thread.

Back in 2013, my wife and I went on a camping trip through the South, in our '02 Concorde. She was panicking the whole way through the Smokies, (in daylight), even though I rarely went over the posted speed limit. Afterwards, I asked her how she would like to drive that road at 90mph in a '57 Ford, with 250 gallons of white lightning in the back, and Revenue agents chasing you.

Today my buddy Greg and I had the honour to see the Bootlegger 65 F3 in person.
Shre was on display at Syracuse Nationals for all to see .
We were both blown away and had to take a breath as we both only read and seen photos of this rare gem.
Many thanks to the owners for driving 4 hours up to show her off.
Certainly a 1 of 1 C with a solid and colorful history.
