This GT is in the East Bay

I'll still go earlier as CALIFORNIA looks to be the narrow set as those letters are close together, like the black plate, and unlike the blue examples above.

That's the very car that Dan has been trying to sell in another thread.

I still have the original black plate from my Barracuda sold new at Lemon Grove Chrysler Plymouth in Lemon Grove Ca. the "best climate on earth".

Lemon Grove. That is a name I haven't heard in a long time. Used to go to a hole in the wall restaurant down there for Sunday morning brunch as they served 3, 5, and 7 egg omelets. Lines way out the door. This back while at San Diego State U. in 1974. You're in PA now instead of the best climate???

The A in this plate is clearly narrower than the number 1, on the later plates it would be the same.

Nice looking car though for a daily driver, glad to see it hasn't been rusted to oblivion like most of the classics around where I live.

Finding any classic that isn't rusted for under 4k is just about impossible. Unless it's a jag or a merc. Saw a beautiful 74 merc going for like 3.5k, I looked it up and it was a pretty quick car but spare parts are probably basically non existent.
