I will the next time I get my hands on one. But it looks like you got yours apart fine.
This is why the shop manual is needed.

I should of investigated a little further when I had it apart that time. The problem I have now is that everything in the heater/AC box works now. I had to repair and replace a lot of components. The blower motor spins correct at all speeds. I get 34 degrees at the center vent. Th problem is the air flow volume. The air flow is barely coming out of the vents like a blend door isn't opening or there is a blockage somewhere.

I was very disappointed in the airflow also. It's not the motor ( it's the same motor as used by GM of the same era ((check the interchange)) and my 70's GMs had airflow that would blow your hair back). It has to be a crappy design of the ductwork.
Had the wild idea of getting a step-up transformer and running 24V through the fan.

When I had the dash apart, all the ductwork was clean as a whistle.
It's just a sucky design, that's all. If I had to take my wildest guess, I'd say the new design for 74+ has an air flow bottleneck at the heater core.
My 1978 Newport has massive air flow through the vents.

But not the NYB. That adds to the mystery, then.
That's a nice looking car, can't believe how comfy those seats look! Hantavirus? Ha! Just a little mess to clean up, is all! BTW, I'm glad I'm not the one doing the cleaning, always hate the grossness of that task.

possibly a restriction in the return rather than the supply ducting. i e plugged evaporator or heater core.

The shop manual was to help me with getting at the heater core, and vent work to check for rodent debris.
The car really is rust free, but mice can gain access through unbelievably small openings.
I will be examining every nook and cranny......

A while ago, I bought a cheap probe camera on Alibaba for rediculously cheap money. Yah, it is crappy but it does work.
You plug it into your smartphone or tablet using an OTG dongle. I had fun using it snaking up through my NYB's ductwork from the outlets. Went clear into the heater box.
Was like a doctor looking down a throat into the stomach.

I work with the best engineers and scientists in the world. Not a single of them made that recommendation. And we use camera's every single damn day! LOL!
