Now I also know why some don't like that particular dash. I was wondering what that ledge was across the middle of the dash and thought WTF???

As for 26,000 original miles I wonder. A repaint usually means the car has been used. Either that or they kept the car stored outside for a couple of decades of not driving it in which I would expect more rust everywhere water collects. Stored inside you don't need a repaint so I don't believe the 26,000 miles.

That would be the most unattractive dash I have ever seen which is a shame because the car itself has great lines. What do you guys think its worth without being able to inspect it firsthand?

It is a very practical feature. I have the same dash in my 70 Polara and the sunglasses reside there permanently. As for the car its a project maybe 2.5K at most.

First thing I though of, either it was added after or the number was just thrown out there.
Many people like the spring special chrome, I myself do not.

You have a similar dash. not the same dash. I never put anything on it accept a damp cloth to wipe the collected dust.

Given what it is I disagree with your price Fred, I think it could go for close to five grand

Personally can't stand to have anything laying visibly around, not even in card pockets.
Car is a mixed bag I guess as well.
