Threaded Ball joint removal Tool.

The upper ball joints on my 65 Polara are threaded. Does anyone know where to get a tool? Or have one that I could borrow? I'll pay shipping.

some auto parts places have loaners,, check with them as well..

Do you have the control arms off? If you do and want to drive about a hour I can remove them for you. We have both sockets at the shop

I would make the drive. It would be cheaper. Those sockets aren't the cheapest in the world and come in 3/4" drive so you also have to get an adapter. There are two different sizes as mentioned later. Yours will be the large.

I can take them off. It's just the shock and two upper control arm bolts right? It would be fun to talk to another cbody fan.
