My 70 had bias play on it when I drove it home the night I bought it. They were the first thing I replaced

How old were these ?
I have tens of thousands of kilometers on bias plies, new production however and still have to experience that considerable difference in driving safety except for wet roads, but stepping up to considerably wider radials could have a similar effect on wet roads for brake distance and floating on puddles is pretty severe with wide radials.
