Too many black 1974 Imperials in Florida...

Agreed, the colour change really hurts the value as the colour was a big part of the Crown Coupe appearance package in 74 (ie. Chrysler's golden anniversary). It would be like restoring a 70 300 Hurst in totally different colours and then spout on about the package even when you screwed it up.
Agreed, and don't get me wrong I don't mean to bash the man's car... just his marketing of it.
I agree, we'll put it back to golden fawn
That would be a good trick...

Whatever value it had beyond the standard $2,500.00 Formal was destroyed.
It is now a 25 hundred dollar Formal.

I saw the one at the race track (Cecil County, Md). We were doing a couple of time runs with my friend's ProMod and I saw it parked on the grass when we were towing the car back to the pits. I didn't even realize what it was until I started talking to the owner. The car is somewhere is southeast Pa. His grandson was getting some time runs in a Top Sportsman race car. I haven't seen it since.

There was another for sale here a few years back.
